Why I Sued Eddie Murpy is a tell all, account by account novel detailing exactly why I sued Eddie Murphy and other accounts surrounding these combined $200 million dollar law suits. The novel will begin from the summer of 1996 where I hand delivered copies of my stage play scripts, No Harm, No Foul and Bronx House, along with video taped performances of the plays and an invitation for Heavy D, Jimmy Jenkins (J Luv's Barber Shop) and others to attend a live performance of No Harm, No Foul.
After receiving telephone conversations from Universal's representatives and making an agreement, they breached that agreement and created the hit movie LIFE (using my works) starring Murphy and Martin Lawrence with out my permission or compensation. These acts prompted a series of lawsuits (Spaning nearly a decade) and was the inspiration of the chapter called "Mad As A Mother."
This is sure to be one of the most compelling novels of this century. One of the chapters called "Mad As A Mother" is sure to have you laughing so hard that people will think that you are crazy if you are reading this book in public. Then there is the chapter called, "The 100 Year Curse." You may not believe in curses now, but after reading this novel and seeing what has happened to many of the people involved in the movie LIFE (including Eddie Murphy) you may never want to harm or steal from anyone again. There is also a very compelling chapter called, "Marked For Death." Regardless of what task or chores you may have to do, once you begin reading this chapter you won't be able to put the book down. Then of course, there is the chapter called, "Why I Sued Eddie Murphy."
This is a novel that you will simply not be able to put away once you begin to read it. "Why I Sued Eddie Murphy" may well be the novel of the 21 century. |
